Google updated pagerank

Google finally updated its page rank after more than 5 months. Many site owners were eagerly waiting for their page rank to be increased but to dismay of many site owners google just slashed and dropped page rank of many paid links site. The new strategy as the rumors had circulated just devastated those who were just hoping for their page rank to increase.

Some sites page rank even dropped by 2 i.e. a previously ranked 6 site dropped to page rank 4. It was such a horror for the site owner. This is almost pin pointed to sites that are practicing link buying, link farming, and business models that constitute premeditated interlinking schemes. Never the less other sites which are not involved in such acts will retain their rank.
